St. Lucia Serenades
Get your dose of Vitamin D and enjoy a free all-ages concert featuring an incredible line-up of musical goodness and dynamic ensembles at University of Queensland's new scenic lakeside amphitheatre. This instalment of Brisbane Festival Serenades features an eclectic lineup of beloved performers, from dynamic ensembles to electrifying duo acts. Calling all students, families, and indie music fans to come and enjoy the gorgeous spring weather. Bring a picnic and your dancing shoes, as you will need both!
Friday Feels at Portside Wharf
Friday Feels is the perfect way to start the weekend. Join us every Friday evening for a delectable series of pop-up music events featuring a range of acts, roving performances and workshops. Dance along, join in, and celebrate the end of the week every week at the fabulous Troubadour Stage at Portside Wharf. Brisbane Festival is partnering with communities across the length and breadth of Brisbane, bringing fashion and design to the suburbs and dance to the districts. The 2024 Communities program will celebrate accessible arts with delivery of 49 workshops across 9 Neighbourhood and Community Centres.

Skylore — The Rainbow Serpent
Join us at Festival Garden in South Bank or at Queen's Wharf as 400 drones dazzle over Brisbane’s iconic skyline with a spectacular storytelling of The Rainbow Serpent. This First Nations creation story for Brisbane River as told by Traditional Owner and Tribal Experiences Managing Director Shannon Ruska. Skylore — The Rainbow Serpent is a larger-than-life highlight of Brisbane Festival and a bright and bold celebration of our city, celebrating culture and place.
