UQ Lakes Amphitheatre

UQ Lakes Amphitheatre

Fanning out from the heritage-listed Great Court, you’ll find modern teaching and research facilities, including laboratories, lecture theatres, and Queensland’s largest research library. The expansive grounds are also home to a variety of sporting facilities, museums, cafes, and those famous Jacaranda trees.

The St Lucia campus is only seven kilometres from Brisbane’s city centre, making it an appealing place to study, work or visit.

#Getting There

Public Transport

St Lucia campus is conveniently serviced by more than 10 direct bus routes from the Brisbane CBD and outer suburbs. Some routes travel via rapid-transit busways, which offer congestion-free services to and from campus.

There are also frequent services from Indooroopilly Shopping Centre and Toowong. St Lucia campus has 2 bus stations, located at Chancellor’s Place and UQ Lakes.

Ride Your Bike

We encourage travel on bicycles, electric bikes and scooters, as a cleaner, greener way to get to and around St Lucia campus.

Parking

The University provides parking options on St Lucia campus for staff, students and visitors.
There are free and paid parking options at St Lucia.
The closest parking space for patrons is Conifer Knoll Parking Station (P11).
