Whether you're a lifelong classical music aficionado or new to the genre, Voices of Victoria Park offers a captivating experience, showcasing local talent against the backdrop of one of the city's most picturesque green spaces.
Our line-up features all-abilities choir the House of Soul Singers performing original songs composed by its members, alongside the renowned Brisbane Excelsior Band, known as Brisbane’s premier marching brass band. Enjoy the harmonious sounds of The Crunchy Chickpea Salad Quartet, a saxophone quartet presented by Griffith University Queensland Conservatorium, and the captivating quartet Angel Strings. Headlined by the dynamic and powerful voice of coloratura soprano, Katie Stenzel, immerse yourself in the enchanting melodies of Canticum Chamber Choir, one of Australia’s leading chamber choirs.

House of Soul
Over the past 12 years, House of Soul (previously known as Sweet Freedom Singers) an all abilities choir has developed a songbook of over 100 original songs, reflective of the member’s unique experiences, stories, and aspirations.
Brisbane Excelsior Band
A highly competitive A Grade Queensland band, Excelsior has been on a winning streak in recent years, having been the only brass band to have successfully won four Australian National Championship titles.
The Crunchy Chickpea Salad Quartet
The Crunchy Chickpea Salad Quartet (that’s right, you read that correct) is a Brisbane based saxophone quartet consisting of members Rory Kelly (Soprano), Nina Lane (Alto), Abby Holmes (Tenor) and Emily Booij (Baritone).
