Soaring vocals and breathtaking strings in a powerful exploration of hardship, strength and connection

Join us at City Hall for a special concert featuring some of Queensland's most treasured musicians and composers.

A stunning voice on the international scene, Pauline Maudy is an accomplished French-Australian songwriter and performer who embraces music that promotes human connection. For this concert, she presents songs inspired by human resilience crafted in collaboration with internationally renowned composer Robert Davidson. Together, they weave the human experience into a collection of soulful songs, conjuring melodies and lyrics that delve into hardship, strength, and connection. The songs are brought to life by Black Square String Quartet, bolstering Pauline’s powerful vocals.

Pauline Maudy was named Artist of the Year in the Australian Folk Music Awards Award for her contribution to folk music in Australia and abroad and has received multiple Queensland Music Awards for her songwriting.
